Care for Athletes &
Motorsport

What We TreatCare for Athletes & Motorsport

Sports performance places high demands on the musculoskeletal system, whether it is professional sports, recreational activity, or demanding motorsport. We offer comprehensive care focused on injury prevention, performance improvement, and faster recovery. We use modern therapeutic methods and an individual approach so that every athlete can reach their maximum potential.

Examination
Thorough diagnostics are the foundation of effective care. We assess posture, range of motion, muscle imbalances, and areas under strain specific to each sport. Based on the results, we choose targeted therapy and training procedures.

Therapy – Release of Overloaded Muscle Attachments
Repetitive movements, intensive training, or racing can lead to overloading of muscles and their attachments. Using manual techniques, soft tissue methods, and targeted stretching, we release tension, support recovery, and prevent injuries.

Mobilization and Adjustment of Centered Posture
Proper centered alignment of joints and the spine is key for effective and safe movement. Mobilization techniques and posture adjustment help improve body biomechanics, increase performance, and reduce the risk of overload.

Creating a Training Plan for a Specific Sport
Every sport places specific demands on the body. We prepare individual training plans focused on strengthening key muscle groups, improving stability, flexibility, and overall fitness, so the athlete can perform at their best and minimize the risk of injury.

Tomáš Šedivý – General manager, Sporting Director, A1GP 2007

"Mgr. Miroslava Tancošová (née Palová) worked as a physiotherapist in our Czech team during the A1GP 2006/2007 race series. As general manager, I can say that Mirka Palová did a truly great job for our Czech A1GP team, with which I was very satisfied. She took professional care of our drivers – Jarek Janis, Tomáš Enge, and Jan Charouz.

She ensured their hydration, nutrition, physical and mental condition, and came up with excellent solutions for acute health problems of our professional drivers. Before races, she prepared them myoskeletally for performance, took care of their mental well-being, balance, and hydration, so they could deliver maximum performance and show their hidden abilities.

After the races, she provided regeneration for the drivers and considered it a matter of course to also take care of the acute health problems of our mechanics. I appreciated that she shared the same team motto as I did. She quickly resolved acute myoskeletal issues of drivers from other A1GP teams as well – Summerton (USA), Phil Giebler (USA), Sébastien Buemi (Switzerland), Joe Macari (Great Britain), and Jonathan Michel Jourdain (Mexico), Neel Jani (Switzerland). I only heard positive feedback about her work from the drivers.

I was very satisfied with Mirka's highly professional approach to physiotherapy and her maximum work commitment. I can highly recommend her for her valuable knowledge and experience."
